Got my Procyon today
AND....I gave an estimate to a lady who is getting the nursery ready!...I was a shoe in once I showed the brochure from Procyon and the baby with a bottle of cleaner in his mouth. lol I will do it in the morning (begged me to squeeze it in) and use the Procyon to test as well....actually both Tile and carpet but not a very big job.

I think you will like that product, I was actually impressed.
Just test your sprayer first to make sure it works, because you will never know otherwise when spraying.
I might order some more and test it out on another job. It is good to have options.

Yeah the baby grabbing the bottle
Re: Got my Procyon today
Cleaned a store front with it tonight, it did very well and that was just the carpet and upholstery version.
I did one side with Procyon and one side with Extreme Clean. They both cleaned up equally well. The Extreme Clean side required less dwell time, but added the trademark sour odor while the Procyon was odor-free.
As for cost savings....the Extreme Clean is cheaper for me, but I like the no odor a lot.
Davey, order it direct from the website if you are going to order a couple of cases of their products as they give discounted shipping the more that you order. It ended up costing me $20 to ship a couple of cases which is cheaper than driving the 3 hour round trip to the nearest retailer down here. If it keeps working well, it might become a standard on the truck.

Re: Got my Procyon today
For store fronts you should probably use the Procyon Tile and Grout Cleaner. It calls for 4-8 oz/per gallon of cold depending on soil level.
What I don't understand is when you look at the MSDS hazordus ingredient its the same and at the same concentration levels for all their products.
So that would mean there are non hazardous ingredients that are proprietary that are not listed? Rob probably know more about MSDS rules than I do.
Sodium – Phosphoric Acid - Silicic Acid
OSHA PEL: 5mg/m3
ACGIH TLV: 5mg/m3
One more thing, I was a little weary about using the Procyon Xtreme on upholstery. It turns out that you can use it 2/oz per gallon which would make more economical to use than their Carpet and Upholstery cleaner.

Re: Got my Procyon today
They are not required to list any ingredient that isn't a reactant, so they can add anything they want that is neutral.
These store fronts are not tile, they are that synthetic walk off stuff which never cleans worth a crap anyway. At least back in the day they were made of wool and looked great when you were done.
I haven't played with the concentrations at all yet, but it might be worth trying. Maybe a lower concentration of their Extreme version would equal the standard version at a cheaper price point?
