How many jobs / day ?

I know this can't be the same for each of us in different parts of the country, but what's your average jobs you're willing to do by yourself ( no helper ) ?
I did 3 jobs yesterday by myself and I almost killed myself, part of it is the 2nd job added a big sofa with chaise ( almost 9' ) and 2 area rugs and stairs.
I vowed yesterday that I will not do more than 3 jobs again by myself but we all know how that goes when we start to get hungry for more jobs, lol.

I set the limit at residential in a single day. One slot in the morning and one for the afternoon. That leaves me plenty of time to recover and grab lunch in between. If it was a small job, I guess a third at the end of the day could be acceptable.

I don't think it is the total in one day that gets you, it is the number of times in a row that you do it that week that really matters. That is what will grind you down.

How many percent of apartments in your area ? That's another one that's killing me with the time, pulling longer hoses, sometime have to pull them over a balcony, 2 person no problem, solo run takes a toll on your body and time killer.

It is low, but I can't tell you the last time that I have been able to schedule more than 2 in one day if I wanted to....there has just been no volume at all. If I can get 2 in one day right now I consider it a great day.

It use to be 4-6/day. Avg invoice..$150+-
Now I top out at 3 usually. I don't have it in me like I use to.
Mostly rentals; apt, duplexes, and afew houses.

Oh, I have a meeting next week with that PM that keeps calling me. The PM, maint mgr, and owner(will be in town).
She told me, "tell us how you can get it done". 
They have an online program for move in/move out maintenance. Very slick. Show who's in doing what and when they be done. Way cool.

Sounds like they only want you so it is a lock. Have you decided how you are going to attack it yet?

24/7 ?? Are you doing water restoration ?? If not, it's hard to imagine anyone want to hear a truck mount blaring at midnight, lol.
Matt, get someone to help you with those buildings, it may be a pita but if you have rooms in your schedule, looks like there is a pretty good $$ to be made there, spread some words around your church that you need someone for a few hours here and there, or FB if you have a FB account.

Okay 1 per day is a bit weak Mo. That is how my days have been lately if that, so I guess it is the same way with me. I prefer 2 houses or one large commercial....make more on the commercial over the course of the day.

So just like I said I've done it again, did 5 jobs yesterday by myself, what can I say, I got hungry, lol.
It's supposed to be one good size job and everything else is between small and medium size, but one of them wanted me to move all of her light furnitures, sofas, loveseats, coffee tables, side tables, dining chairs, damn lady, I can't say no cause that's our policy, moving light furnitures are included, I'm glad I have some sticky tabs, used those on some furnitures that those tabs fits under, which thankfully most do.
And then the freaking husband dared to ask me for discounts AFTER I'm done with the job, I almost tell him HELL no, lol.

Five is a an impressive day solo....the set-up and load out alone can wear a guy out.

Our markets are definitely different. I don't have any size residential except large. They are 90% 2-story with 4-5 bedrooms, large living rooms, carpeted dining rooms, and fully carpeted basements, stairs and hallways. I could never knock out more than 3 and that would take me all day at least.

It always interests me how other markets look and operate. It is a diverse industry to say the least.

Ha..ha... That’s hilarious ! I wish we are close to each other, we can definitely help each other out, seems like when one of us is busy, the others are not

It does seem to operate that way....we should incorporate and operate as a franchise.
