I think it's a great compliment. At the very least he will give you the opportunity to bid for the restaurants.

I ran into the same thing with an apartment manager. Funny thing is that he wanted me to clean his house, but didn't want to pay my rate to do the apartments. Just different standards for different jobs.

Sounds like a nice compliment to me...makes you feel good as a craftsman.

Most people are under the impression of high quality work = high / higher price, I bet you it's not that he doesn't want an estimate, he's just afraid of the price tag, if I were you T, I would ask for a copy of his restaurants invoices and ask him for a chance to give him an estimate based on the invoices, if they're frequent enough, I'm sure there's a chance you can match their invoices, the only downside is they usually need them cleaning to be done at night, I hate cleaning restaurants in the middle at the night.

What were you using?

The TechnoViking quad vac with 500 Psi, 200k + propane burner with an Rx 20?

And a 17" 175 rpm bonnet pre scrub and air movers.

Well, if you didn't do all that your a hack. Lol j/k.

It must be nice getting bottles of wine from your client's all the time. Isn't this like the 2nd time in 2 months?

Btw, what's your secret?

Cheers!
