Mo, I've done that a few times and usually found out when he / she made an appointment and when he / she gave me his / her name, I usually pretend like it never even happened, lol.

Did it last week actually. I was picking up lunch at small deli and the counter person (very large with a Pete Rose haircut) handed me my tuna on rye. I politely said "thanks, sir" before noticing the name tag...."Julie".
I just walked away slowly and decided to never get lunch there ever again.

Lol oh man...
Using a 175 and pads i would get hair clumping up underneath so I would try and impression house wife and say "so what kind of dog do u have "
she would say what do u mean with a puzzled look on her face.
I then say oh I am getting a bunch of dog hair up.
She then would give me the look and say, "I don't have a dog" and walk off humiliated.

I went down like this-
ME: "Wow you've lost a lot of weight, You look great!"
CUSTOMER:" I have cancer"
This was 20 years ago, no matter how much weight the customer has lost I never mention it. IF they say didn't you notice how much weight I've lost? I tell them this story.

This happened to me a long time ago, ever since if I don't see pets and I got a bunch of hairs, I always ask first, do you have pets ? If they say no, I usually shut my mouth, lol.
