Odor sealed with out..... Empty Odor sealed with out.....

Have a job to go look at where a contractor sealed the concrete garage floor possibly with out cleaning first. All is speculation at this point, but there is still some odor present.

If the floor turns out to be sealed with out cleaning first, what would you expect needed to be done to correct it? What would you look for to determine the best results. If any at this point.

"Sealed" is an ambiguous term. What is it sealed with? How many layers?

If they don't know what sealer is on it you should take a couple different kinds of stripper with you and do a test. Take some regular floor finish stripper, some paint stripper and some concrete sealer stripper. Do a test on a five by five area and time how long it takes to get it all off. Then multiply that by how much actual square footage you have. Don't give a discount for volume because you will run into unforseen delays.

Let us know how it goes.
