I am on my second drum of S&O's.  I always vacuum, treat with S&O's, boosted with peroxide.  If really trashed I add in Grease Eraser and a little Dissolve or any citrus product. Always scrub with a CRB.  The renovators always pull out pet hair and other crap.  A little extra dwell time and then wanding goes pretty smooth.  I like the DFE because breathing better now.  Less sinus issues.  Customers like the safety factor too.

I think S&O's by the drum has saved me a lot.  I have narrowed down to just a few chemicals now. Also a big money saver.

Joe's payment schedule is great, but I like to pay that off quicker.  He does not need to carry us.  My opinion.

Ryan, pull the plug on the CRB.  You will be happy.  I was hesitant at first, but after much research on this I don't know how I did things without it.  I also clean T&G with the CRB.  I like this over the 175 20" orbital with brush.

There is no doubt that there will be a drum in my garage when the season starts to warm up, just hate to keep a drum in the house...have enough stuff piled up in there already.

As for that CRB, having just added that tool, I can see what all the fuss was about. I still find it a little awkward, but it does dig up a ton of junk and lifts the pile really well. Scrubbing or grooming, this tool is very useful.

The only thing those CRB's really need is an adjustable handle that can extend for the taller folks and still be positioned to fit in a van while sitting on the trolley. Beyond that, pretty handy tool.

Forgot. I only use black brushes on the CRB. The white are not aggressive enough.

Soils & oils in combo with the crb is what can set a business apart from the pack. I have noticed that using s/o with softened water rinse leaves the carpet feeling really soft when it dries.
