Re: 1.5" Wand and Whip
I agree, fast dry times are great! And now with the amount of flow I see your running, I see the necessity for all the fans.
I also run a short 1.5" whip to tile and stair tools, but always 2" to wand.
What TM, or blower size you running?

Have you ever used a 1.75-2" tubed wand without the 1.5" whip hose?
If so, then I guess "I don't know"?
I usually use a 6 jet prochem ti wand or a quad jet prochem wand. with a 2 inch hose straight to the wand.
12 flow ti 6 flow quad. the fans cut the drying time in half.
on the rare occasion I use the 2 jet thats all I use is the cuff mishmash to a 2 inch hose.
Someone said earlier I don't like getting hit with the whip in the ankle. I use a whip for tile wands. 6 feet!
I have an airpath, 3 dripods, and 2 1600 cfm small snails. 1 to 2 hour drytimes priceless.
I am not the smartest kid in the class, but it sure is nice to see that I have been using the same 2 wands and almost identical flow as you sir. There must be hope for me yet.

No argument from me...love it on Berber, but I wonder if a VT12 wand would be even better??
Re: 1.5" Wand and Whip
I think the weight and smaller head create a better seal for better water recovery plus sticking with 6 flow flush good at 500 psi. A holed glide really dries fast to.
Re: 1.5" Wand and Whip
I've been running mine at 8 flow for the last year at 400 psi....seems to work well. I do kind of hate my slotted glide, however.
Re: 1.5" Wand and Whip
I've never used an all holed glide, only a hybrid holed/slotted.
Is the all holed that much better?

Re: 1.5" Wand and Whip
The holed dries a little better the slotted lifts pile better I've one back and forth with the flow 6 to 8 on the quad. in the winter usualy lower it.
I use the ti 90 percent of the time.
