Re: Project Bud
Heating it is the next step after getting the propane resolved.
I've explored many things, but it always comes back to no dice. I could run a power inverter and install electric heaters, but with the gaps in the doors, it wouldn't be effective.
The only way to win would be to insulate the flooring from below, seal the door rollers, foam fill the walls in the front and rear, lower the ceiling height, and install heat in the critical areas.
Yup, no dice again.

Big heaters won't overcome those issues?

Re: Project Bud
I agree. There might be a solution, but what-ever it is, it would be an expensive one.
I will just have to push it hard until Thanksgiving and plan on long-term storage.

Re: Project Bud
Milspec.... would this help any? They have a plant in Nebraska too.
Encapsulate the unit in one maybe (just a thought) .....take the top off while running it and when you rap it up put the lid on. lol

Re: Project Bud
Interesting idea....a little heavy, but might be on the right track.
I toyed with Norwegian tent sheets which are insulted panels that I could just wrap up the sensitive components.
I'm still kicking around ideas, there might be a winner out there, but right now I am focused more on this propane tank issue and putting it to work.
