Some people just don't get carpet cleaner humor.Mo wrote:My carpet cleaner wrote:Afterwards, the landlord made a comment about "where do roaches come from"?
WHAT, now you tell me this place had a roach problem!?!?
With how much I went over it, I'm sure it was wet-more than I like to leave it. She had the nerve (I'd like to use another word) to ask if there is anything I can do for the dingy area right off the kitchen.
Isn't that crazy? The carpet is completely trashed and they expect to look brand new after you clean it.
I remember cleaning for a guy that had white carpet. He showed me a traffic area and then an area that had never been walked on and wanted me to guarantee that I could get to look just like the un walked area. I told sure we can get to look like that. Lets just go over to home depot and get some new carpet for that area He didn't think it was funny,

Re: Firestorm High Ph pre-spray
Visiting an older thread here, just want to clarify one thing, JD ships free with a minimum of $ 350 chemical and accessories purchase.
The second reason is I have been playing with Firestorm a little bit more now in the past week and a half and I can tell you this product is amazing for nasty carpets, the only one it doesn't do much is today on a long pile nylon area rug, it was heavy soiled around the bed and after a couple of repeat pre spray, agitate and extract, they still look dingy.
I will definitely keep 1 jar in the van for emergency purpose, if all else fails, this product is definitely the last resort and it's great for spotting too.
Rob, I've mixed enough of this product now to realize that it doesn't clumped up, I didn't use bucket like you did though, I use 5 qt hydroforce jug and pour 1 qt of hot water first, shake and then fill it up and shake again, it mixes very well.

Funny that you brought up this topic as I bucket mixed a batch Thursday night. This time it mixed up okay in a 5-gallon bucket, but it does settle to the bottom pretty quickly so I would give it a shake each time prior to usage.
It must have reacted to something in my bucket the first couple of times I tried it.

Re: Firestorm High Ph pre-spray
I bought some of this stuff about a month ago, and after using it several times now, I really can't say it works better than my normal DfE safe pre-spray concoction??
I just don't see that it's really doing that much?......or is it, and I just can't see it?
But it really doesn't smell that strong or smell bad, which is good.
