Spray Rinse

Spray Rinse
I saw directions for different rinse applications on an acid rinse (Fiber Rinse Pro from Harvard) and had never seen an application for a "spray rinse" and wondered if anyone has used this method or could describe how it's done. There's instructions for truckmount, portable, spray and urine treatment.
Just curious, hadn't seen it before.

Re: Spray Rinse
I am not certain what they are calling a "spray rinse" except that maybe they are just referring to the application method. Using it in a sprayer rather than in a mix tank put through a chemical feed system.
I have used an inline sprayer to apply rinsing agents while my chem pump was inoperative. Just like anything else, fill jug with full strength and set dilution rate. Then just lightly mist it over the carpet prior to extraction.
Peronally, I didn't feel that it worked all that well in that fashion, but it was better than nothing at the time.

Re: Spray Rinse
It is just referring to an application method. They listed four different application methods and I hadn't heard of a "spray rinse" before.

Re: Spray Rinse
That must be it then, using a sprayer to directly apply a rinse before extraction. With all the crappy injection systems out there, more cleaners are turning to spraying on their rinse agents.
In fact, some TM builders have actually suggested doing that instead of repairing their injection systems...at least their service reps. have been.
