Small engine tach
JUst ordered one of these to replace the one on my El Diablo. Now that I have replaced the engine I felt that I should start out with a new hr/tach. Pretty simple to install, just rap the lead wire around one of the spark plug wires and attach with a zip tie. Service alerts too, i really like that.

Re: Small engine tach
Funny you mention that. I purchased one when I bought the TNT and just installed this last weekend. I dint want to drill holes in the panel so I just gorilla glued it on now I can't use it check idle on motorcycle
Re: Small engine tach
Personally, I'd buy the original "TinyTach" brand, and not the knock off of it.
My friend bought that cheap knock off one from eBay too, and within a month or two it had stopped working. Then you have to replace again, with hours starting at Zero again when the engine has some time on it, so it's never an accurate reading.
I think I bought my most recent TinyTach from eBay too, and it was about $45 if I remember correctly...........my first one was still working when I replaced it with over 9k hours on it.
sticky-back Velcro is how I attach mine, no holes or glue needed and easily removable.

Yeah I was going to Velcro it too.
I got the tiny tach from Cobbs don't think I paid more the price of the knock off on ebay.

Re: Small engine tach
I bought one of those Knock Off one from Amazon and it worked for about 1-2 months max.

Smart choice.
You get what you pay for.
