Re: procyon extreme 20% off
Does the procyon contain anti-corrosives now to protect your pump?
I think Andy ended up buying the local distributor's version for that reason.....might have been "Clean Free".....I need to go back and look to be certain.
Anyone able to compare those products?
Procyon vs Clean Free vs Soap Free?

So the corrosive is the salt? I just pre spray don;t run it throuhj the pump
Re: procyon extreme 20% off
I was surprised today by the mail....my samples arrived.
The heat index is 107 today, so I am taking the day off from cleaning anything, so no testing today. I am impressed by the lack of smell from the bottle....that is a good sign.

Re: procyon extreme 20% off
ya extreme is a really really good product, Ive been very impressed with it on many different jobs. Some customers really like that there is no odor.
It cleans better standalone than many pre sprays with 10-14oz h2o2 added, which means this stuff is actually really cheap comparatively when you factor the cost of peroxide
I also just pre spray, the only thing I like to run through the machine is all fiber rinse.
I did hear theres FINALLY a powdered acid rinse available now, made by bridgepoint I think it was

It only took 2 months for the to get it to you
Re: procyon extreme 20% off
Okay, so I couldn't take the whole day off.
I played with the Procyon a little in my house. It actually reminded me a little of the Pro's Choice emulsifier.
http://www.proschoice.com/html/oxygen_release_emul.html
One of the things that I've noticed with the "soap free", "O2 Release" and even "Soils / Oils" is that they all require high temps. If you aren't putting down 190 degrees at the wand, they lose a lot of performance.
Anyone finding the same is true with Procyon?
There is a long list of products that I don't clean with during the winter due to this temperature sensitivity since I struggle to hold 170 at the wand in the cold.
This is also a good reason to install a gauge on your wand...you might be very surprised what you find. At my machine, I hold about 200 degrees, but the wand is a whole different deal.
Hopefully, I'll get to really test this Procyon out this weekend when things cool off a little.

Re: procyon extreme 20% off
Ha ha couldn't take a day off from cleaning ehh. I think the bottle says it works better with hot water. It tastes salty too.
Re: procyon extreme 20% off
Why in the world are you drinking it? I assume that was joke.
I like versatility in a cleaner and this sounds really good on paper. So far, it looks to be a good cleaner according to the closet that I tested on. Will know more by the end of the weekend.

What happened was that I used and empty jug for water and I got it mixed up with a full gallon of Xtreme and I couldn't tell which one was which by looks or smell so I touched one of the gallon with my finger and tasted it.

I could see myself doing the same thing. Kind of reminds me of the old Z-rez commercials when they first hit the market. In fact, there is a lot of talk that they are using these very "soap free" products with their boosted water. Judging by the commercials, I think those rumors are true.
