It has been awhile since this product line has been tossed around, so where are we now with it? Who likes it and which products in their line are you using?

I like it kicks but on tile. But I think the extreme liquid is better and you don't have to worry about it leaving residue that's probably  the case for all powders

Have you only been using it on tile, Mo?

How is it doing on carpets?

the powder is excellent,  I love it.       Its our go to pre spray for upholstery and carpets that arent needing restoration.

if the carpets are horrible and need restoration I grab the Flex.      Im not big on using strong stuff like flex but ive recently found a new way to use these "hot" pre sprays,     very light fanning of rooms is all that is needed its actually funny how little you can use.

I havent revisited the extreme since I went through 4 gallons last summer,    its a great product but I hate dealing with the water weight and volume needed for liquids.

To get the same amount of ready to use with a liquid pre spray that comes in a 50lb box of procyon would be something like 30 gallons of concentrate?   maybe almost a whole drum

the procyon powder cuts through a lot especially when a little oxygen is added and you pre scrub. What I really like about it is how well it dissolves in cold water or hot, same goes for when you extract it... you see dark brown water in your sight tubes, not white foam

So, their Extreme version isn't strong enough for restorative cleaning?

I want to add this product to the truck for residential work, but I'm not certain where the limits are before you reach the need for a traditional power pre-spray.

Really, I am just adding to the the van for areas like day care centers, schools, and medical offices which I think are a good match for that line of products. I will still carry other pre-sprays for homes and heavy commercial, but I am trying to decide on exactly which products to go with it.

For using it for the green effect i will use it as directed but a job with heavy soiled traffic lane i will boost it with sallys 40 volume peroxide around 10oz. to a gallon and 10 to 15 min. dwell time.
I have been using the exteme but i have not seen a big difference from the powder. For a bigger bang for your buck i feel you get more using the powder.
Now for the filthy rags i love slop&gobble again no odor no soap but kicks on grease an pet stains

I never did try S&G, maybe I should.

I am just moving away from the popular formulations out there right now as they are starting to affect me after a long night of cleaning.  I am finding greater skin irritations, dry lips, irritated eyes, nasal drip, etc. than I have ever run into for the last 5 years.  The formulations have changed (thanks to CA restrictions) and not for the better.

Most of the more green products are not affected by this recent reformulations and I think would make me happier IF they can still get the job done in the cleaning department.

I may have to leave my staple of commercial cleaning and target the light - medium residential soiled market.  I still use S/O on residential with good results, but there are limitations there as well, so I am still shopping for options.

After reading up a little, I might have to give the S&G a try on commercial carpets. My other greener chems haven't been able to match what I am using, but I need to find something.

I would say the procyon powder has much less limitations than s/o

Also Peter when you add peroxide your still cleaning green, its just oxygen added to water and stabilized.

S&G you might like Rob since you dont like the D-lim chems, neither are green or a really safe product both clean well though

Ac that is why peroxide is my booster of choice it stays in the green family. The slop&gobble and procyon are the 2 cleaners i am buying but once my procyon extreme is used up i am going back to powder.
as far as vlm cleaning i have used bonnet-pro Free encap no odor pad cap pro plus soils&oils en cap they all perform very well but for residential i need to stay with a crystalizer and yes we always post vac and now been trying atomic and is cleaning very well.

Hydrogen peroxide is an eco friendly booster but it certainly isn't to us when were handling it.

It maybe odorless but it is an inhalation hazard. Are there any long term effects in the quick exposure to us when we mix it.
If we don't wear gloves and we absorb the HP through the skin 4 or 5 times week what are the long term affects of that exposure?

Mo, that is why i won"t use in powder form i don"t want to inhale while mixing. And with liquid wearing gloves is a sure thing. All products are a tool and handled that way with safety first i feel it is a great booster considering what boosters are on the market right now.

Dry skin....not much else, it self neutralizes so it shouldn't have any long-lasting issues.

Exposures to the eyes are another matter completely. Wear goggles and gloves gang.

powder only for me,    ill never go back to liquid swimming pool peroxide.

It goes dead from vented caps,   its 5x the price,   burns your skin,    and 1 tiny drop in your eye and youll never see out of that eye again.

Also miracle has odor eliminating ingredients already in there so you never have to worry about using hydrocide etc or other expensive products....    its both in the same and @ $34 / 8lb jar its hard to beat.   Best true deodorizer Ive ever used

weve brought in over 10 grand in pet treatments with 1 jar before

I dont think there are any long term effects of getting it on your skin Mo,   the oxygen is just releasing and burning it.     It stings but im pretty sure its just sterilizing your skin really well lol
