S/O/E for a rinse agent
Anybody using S/O/E as their rinse agent in their TM? If so, what ratio are diluting the solution to and what are you metering it at?
I was worried about the polymers clogging up my lines when left overnight for periods of time.

Joe if we switch to this and have an HX after flushing lines is it ok for the HX? As long as we don't jump back and forth with other products as you stated.

Re: S/O/E for a rinse agent
I might have to do a drum order on that if I decide to switch. I have a few gallons in the shop I'll run for a while and see if I like.
Maybe Eric (pro touch ) might want to get in on that drum and split it. I could save my empty s/o drum and fill it half way. How much is the drum of s/o/e Joe?
I have always like stream lining my cleaning supplies to one place. Makes it so much easier, and with the drum payment plan it works great for us.

I use 2oz/gallon in my rinse and meter at 2. No problems at all with clogging and haven't had any wicking issues.

Got that covered cause it's will be the only thing available.Joe Bristor wrote:Yes Ryan.
Plus it's a good case of 'likes dissolves likes' when you use the two together.
S/O + S/O/E =
(just be careful with your techs. Make sure they don't go get stupid while you're not lookin).

I would love to be at the point where I can do that Ryan. I'm still the newb and don't have enough to support that yet. I look forward to the day when we can share supplies to make life easier for both of us.

Re: S/O/E for a rinse agent
I use S/O/E in the rinse when I want to try to prevent wicking, seems to work well too.
I use it as directed,............"2 cups metered 1-2GPH as a rinse 4:1".
I've never considered running it all the time, but since I'm looking for a new inexpensive rinse for cleaning, I may have to try it.

Maybe it's my imagination but drying times seem to be great using this in the rinse even on Berber. Going to experiment some more but so far so good.
Re: S/O/E for a rinse agent
That's interesting, Larry. I'm not sure it could speed up dry times?, but I really don't know....
But maybe the mastermind Joe can shed some light on that?....If it would speed drying, and how?

Re: S/O/E for a rinse agent
This has been working great so far. Might try it for a pre-spray next as it seems to work well with the encap method. 1-2 punch.

I think there is a drying agent in all the S/O products...at least they all seem to dry faster to me and that is a great thing.
