Can't find find my previous thread on this but after a month of using this thru the rinse I'm convinsed. Carpet dry faster and the overall apperance is amazing. Customers are astonished and my head is begininng to swell( I have been adding fels naptha some times and filtraton lines are longer a problem). I love this product Joe and will try it out for a pre-spray as well.

If it works out it may be the only chemical on my truck for residentials, not sure about rat nasties or resturants, I've been using Cobbs powermax for those.

That is how it is over here too. S/O for residentials, but I still use Extreme clean on commercial jobs.

S/O/E Rinse Empty Re: S/O/E Rinse

Post by Larry Henson Sat Jan 11, 2014 10:04 pm

After 27 years of cleaning I can truely say I've never seen a carpet clean and pop as much as I have with S/O/E as the rinse and no this isn't a paid promotion but shear(or however you spell it) fact....Give it a try and post your results. You have nothing to lose but alot to gain. From my experiance you don't even have to put those big ole heavy blowers on the carpet to force dry unless you want to. I run 212 at my diesel fired burner but at the wand it hits hits 230 with Joes temp gauge( yes it is right because because a 1 jet wand with 4 flow will keep 212 at the wand but the 8 flow flow Prochem will bury 230 with the burner on 212). I love this setup because it is instant heat and consistant even when cleaning tile.

I have always used S/O/E as a prespray
boosting with H2o2 as neccessary
and have great results.

my chemical injector froze on my truck mount and I have not replaced it so plain water rinse is what I do.

I'm going to finally try S/O/E for my rinse. I've been using Liquid Slurry, and just adding some encap as needed on wicking/problem type carpets, but the LS seems to be clogging my lines so I'm ready to dump it for 100% encap.......we'll see....

Dave I will Tell you right NOW be careful that stuff will gum up and clog
everything if it mixes with something it doesn't like.
It will be fine if you don't mix anything with it...but do not ever say oh the tank is almost empty all add this NO NO NO.

Maybe that's what's causing my clogging.......the occasional encap with the LS. Makes sense I guess, being others have told me they have no prob with LS. So I guess I need to pick one or the other, and not mix the two, like I've been doing once in awhile.

Thanks, Tom!

S/O/E Rinse Empty Re: S/O/E Rinse

Post by SCCC Thu Nov 20, 2014 11:24 pm

When Joe first came out with it I was using it on jobs to see how it worked for him.
I had some deodorizer in my jug not a lot but it turned it into a gum like material and plugged my tm, and my solution hose solid, it was a nightmare because the rubber gummy stuff would not come out with acid I tried.
I used a long wire to finally get it out of sol. line. The Tm I drained all water and ran it till it cooked it out, I had to change my y strainers about every hour for about a week as it broke down and broke free.
My little filter screens basically broke because they couldn't hold against the pressure.
It was bad but Joe and I didn't know it would be that bad. So after that complete dump out and rinse jug flush rig then add encap.

Yes, do not put an acid in with this. It will clog. It has happened to me once.

Yes, it coated the walls and cooked became like powder, but the lose or bulk of it was like bubble gum.
Once that was cleared up I used it as a rinse and I liked it.
I just started using acid rinse and I swear my tm is getting hotter, maybe this stuff acts like descale additive?

Thanks again, Tom.

I guess that explains this clogging prob I've been having. I never even thought about it being the mixing of Encap with other stuff.

I use dry slurry and I notice the plumbing walls got coated with white residues from it, once every 6 - 12 months I usually run white vinegar through my chemical pump and connect a bleeder hose and flush them out, then run the dry slurry through it and the next day clean the screen filter, that usually will get the water hotter because the lines are squeaky clean.
