You So. Cal Guys fell that?!? Looks like a 5.1 @9:09pm in La Habra. With another a lil over an hr ago in same area, that was a 3.6
And another 2 min after the bigger one, there was a 3.4...............with another 6 lil ones after that all 2.4 or smaller.
You guess it, I'm petrified of Quakes!
I only felt the 5.1, but I'm 25 miles away or so.............but man it was a scary one, the way it rolled then shook and lasted what seemed like awhile.
AND I just felt another one!.....

Yup that last one I felt was another 3.6, and there was a smaller 2.2 after it.

I only recall one large one when I was stationed out there...scared the hell out of me too.
The only positive thing I can say is...at least it isn't a giant sinkhole that opens up and swallows your house while you are sleeping. Those things really scare the heck out of me.

Yup, I felt it alright, that wasn't the biggest one I've experienced but a pretty big one indeed :-)
Dave, are you sure you're a californian ?

HAHA
Yea, defiantly not the biggest I've felt ( I was around for the bigger Sylmar, and Northridge Quakes), but for some reason this one seemed kinda scary.......I guess just the way it fell, with the rollin first then the jolt!!

I guess I'm the only one freaked out by Quakes.
There has been almost another 80 smaller ones in the same La Harbra/Brea area just today, with the largest one being a 4.1 @ about 2;30 pm today.
End of the CA? Maybe it's actually going to fall into the Pacific this time

Not to add to your situation, but I would move.
Only had 1 or 2 quakes in Nebraska and they were very small. Plenty of room.

I thought you guys were used to them already. I was there for the Sylmar, Whiiter Narrows, and North Ridge earth quakes. I was just a kid with the Sylmar one but that one knocked me off my bed.
When the Northridge one hit I jumped out of bed and stood under a door jam with my legs spread out and hands stretched out on the top of the door jams like your supposed too.
After the quake my girl friend was cracking up because I was naked at the time and she said it looked like I was sounding the alarm with my cojones swings back and forth

oh my! That was so funny, I played the whole thing out while I was reading. Lol.
Don't move to Fayetteville, NC those boys over on Fort Bragg are dropping bombs all the time. You'd think you lived on a battle field. Sometimes shakes my house. Then you get the helicopters buzzing the tops of the house. Crazy sometimes. I'm used to it now that I've lived here all my life.

Agreed with Ryan, I was laughing my a$$ off reading Mo's comment.
Unfortunately I don't think I'll last too long in NC Ryan, I've tried a few times to imitate your accent and I just can't do it, customers probably will laugh their a$$ off as soon as they hear my californians accent

were due for a monster in seattle, they say it could be the biggest ever when it hits well off the scale
kinda scary to think about, it could happen tomorrow or in 60yrs we have some really old outdated bridges that already need replacement, no way they will make it...
