wow, was i surprised(marketing)

So Little league ball is under way. I decided to get involved and support the opening day cerimonies. So I worked with the concession stand and bought $250 worth of pop(kegs), and gave away FREE pop. Had a vynal sign for my biz w/ free pop written on it. Stood there for hour and half, saying 'HI' and handing out biz card and coup for a free spotter bottle w/ cleaning.
About 10 minutes before I was done I booked 2 jobs(1 a repeat). Had 3 calls in the last hour, booked 1.
Wasn't really expecting much as far as bookings, so this was surprising to me.

I've been around and involved our LL for12 out of last 14 years. Figured that some 300+ families and them announcing about the free pop over the PA system was a way to get attention. Should of heard the cheers, mostly from the kids.

Might have to have some logo cups made or mini-helmets and really get after that idea?
Speaking of which, I might have to look into that as we have a huge baseball complex in my home town.
