That's cool Mo. I'm glad it was useful.
Looks like a nice place you have there. Congratulations on the move.

Hey Ryan, I'm sure we could work something out if you'd like to sell it in your area.

You could be the east coast distributor Ryan.
I used the Hot Rod horizontal tile brush today saved a lot of time and effort pre scrubbing the grout lines. How long have I had this thing? Promise I'll send it to you this week AZ. Just one more tile job on Wednesday

Geezz, just buy one already, LOL and ship the loner to the next guy.
Sorry, I had to, after being grilled by you and Joe, for "loaning too long" in the past.

Your daughter seems to do a pretty good job shooting some of your vids.
Is she back in school like your son?

Re: The Hot Rod Pro Loaner & Review
Not completely but here it goes.
As you can see from the video it made a great deck sander made it very easy and quick.
The grout driver is pretty cool. I think it might be better if the the bristles on that driver were similar to the regular tile and grout attachment. Stiffer and small enough to fit in the grout line. The other thing that would be nice is if you could attach that driver similar to the way the other drivers attach by just screwing it on. That tile and grout brush needs to be bolted on.
I only used it on 2 tile and grout jobs. I didn't need a splash guard with it because I spray just the grout lines first so I don't use a lot of solution. There isn't a lot of head weight so that stiffer smaller bristles would make it work better on grout.
It did work better holding it the way you said Bill. But it would be nice if you could hold the handle like you would a wand and have that bristle perpendicular to the grout lines. I have to post a video to show what I mean. I might consider purchasing it strictly for the grout driver of the bristles were stiffer. Ironically I have 2 jobs scheduled next week with over 2k of tile and grout. So Joe make sure I get that shark tile and grout brush ASAP before the fun begins next Tuesday.
The regular tile and grout brush does a good job at scrubbing the tile but it just doesn't get into the grout lines. More later dinner time.

Re: The Hot Rod Pro Loaner & Review
But what about carpet agitation?
That's what I use mine mostly for?
And why does the grout brush "need to be bolted on"?........mine screws on. Is it a different type, Bill??

The brush I sent Mo is different. Actually I sent him the one you have plus another one which is different.
It was basically an experiment never got off the ground.
I might have another one of those brushes at the shop if you want to give it a try Davey.

Re: The Hot Rod Pro Loaner & Review
Don't give up on that style of brush application Bill. It worked pretty well on one grout job not so well on another one. That cleaned up better with a manual scrub that's just the way it is sometimes. I think it's just a matter of finding the right brush. Maybe the one I had was worn down.
Here a new one with similar brush
Here's the one I was using

Hey MO,
Remember when we were at Cal Pac and you joked about taking a lawn edger and putting that type of brush on it?
Remember I told you I did that?
Well now that I'm moving out of the shop I came across it. I did it but never even tried it out.
Do you want it?
I'll send a pic when I get a chance.

Re: The Hot Rod Pro Loaner & Review
Yeah I remember, but his brush was not round. He had a regular blue grout brush attached to it.
I already have a multi sprayer if I add a weed wacker to the toolbox folks will thank I'm the gardener.
The Hot Rod is actually a cool sales tool for tile and grout biz. I like to show the customers the tools I use to clean T&G it helps to sell the job. The last person was pretty impressed with the wheel grout brush and its another tool they don't have at home.

I can't picture it, but I'll take a picture of mine and show you it tomorrow.
I agree about the impression it makes. I started videoing some of our customers' reactions but haven't in a while because of all the crap that happened.

One more before you Andy. It's going to Ken Raddon now then off to you. I would give at least four weeks before it moves to your dorection.
You really need the four to get a good experience with The Hot Rod Pro.
