Maybe we can pool our money together to get 20.00 to buy one and then will auction it of to the highest bidder like the SS Tool Very Happy

Did I say carbon fiber? My bad I meant structural plastic.

Dave by the looks of that pic do you think Joe's handle angles back towards the user more?

Carbon, I'm sure is only a matter of time. This industry only seems to be couple years behind, so how much longer could it really be?....Since carbon is used in just about eventing else now.

http://www.cobbcarpet.com/zen/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=68&products_id=4995

I was cleaning today and thought about were a good position for the grip to be in. It does look like Joes design has the handle pointing towards the user more than the Mytee but I can't tell.

Mytee also make a aluminum handle for their bently wand the handle doesn't look very comfy though
Mytee wand Assist Handle - Page 2 Mytee_10
Dam good idea with the auto tilt option Rob.

Ken, Call Joe to get his handle

from what I can tell in the picture....I think Mytee's is bent back a little bit more...
which is the same one Cobb is selling...Mine has been on my wand since January of 2012....made of light weight carbon....

It looked like to me from thee pic you posted? Mytees handle is also a plastic material. I wonder where this "carbon" stuff is coming from??.............a carbon handle would be a lot more than $20! wink

I received the assist handle from Cobbs today. They sent me the wrong size. I think this one is for a 1.5 inch wand. This thing is huge compared to the stock handle. I doubt if its going to be lighter. Ill see if I can put them on the scale tomorrow. It definitely angels back towards the operator.

Boy that looks awful BIG and kinda bulky looking, I thought it would be a little sleeker looking than that.
Look forward to your review on it though it maybe more comfortable and I guess that matters but it just looks awful big to me.

I have been using mine for a long long time and it is a much nicer handle...the curve back makes a difference when holding the wand...

it is lighter then the metal handle that I replaced it with......

I have a 2" tube I couldn't get it on. I didn't take the other one off so that might be why it looks even bigger.

Take more pics of both later.

Dave have you received the loaner that DP bought to compare it to Joes handle

I think we could all agree the Mytee Ergonomic handle is bulkier than the original stock VT handle. I suspect it would be more comfortable then the stock handle. Still need to weigh both handles. Which one do you guys think will weigh more?

I know the stock crap handle is 15.7 oz.....and I'd guess they mytee is slightly less.

Mo, do you have a food scale to weigh them?.....I know Joe's is about 4 oz lighter than the stock even tho about double the size.

BTW looks like your solution hose is about a foot too long! LOL

No I don't have one. Ill take it ti the supermarket then.

How much does the Wanders handle weigh? If the Mytee handle only weighs slightly less it better more ergonomic. Im all for using anything that will help reduce wear and tear on the body. Unfortunately I won't know until I get the right size.

The solution hose fit better when I had it tied down with velcro. Call  Wanders and complain Very Happy
