Re: The Best of Trashed Carpet
Nice work there Davey. I have yet to use a crb in combo with HWE for agitation. And by the way, that aw29 is still a great wand. I was just thinking today that I may call wanders supply and talk to Joe about getting a HSK for that bad boy. Eric (pro touch) said he has one and would join me on a job to give it a go if I wanted. I assume it make easy work of the extraction.

And for the record, those gym day cares are as bad as greasy restys! What the heck are those kids doing? My guess is their parents leave them there too long. I just did one early this month and it was awful, needed the 360. That bad!

They eat and drink in there. At least they do at the one I posed, not to mention don't have it cleaned often.Ryan S wrote:And for the record, those gym day cares are as bad as greasy restys! Hey Ryan, anytime you want to try a crb just let me know. When the Zipper gets here maybe we can have all sorts of fun with equipment.

Re: The Best of Trashed Carpet
And that my friends is why we do this job...success stories like these. There is a real satisfaction that comes with taking a filthy, beat up carpet and transforming it into something attractive. You don't get that working in a cubicle attaching TPS cover letters.

Yeah Eric. I would like to do that.Pro Touch wrote:Hey Ryan, anytime you want to try a crb just let me know. When the Zipper gets here maybe we can have all sorts of fun with equipment.

Re: The Best of Trashed Carpet
Nice Job, Ryan!
Especially that filthy step, couldn't expect to make that look any better than you did.
Why is it mostly just you and me posting nastys in this thread......are we really the only ones lucky enough to get these nasty jobs?!
Does everyone else only do 'clean' jobs?

Re: The Best of Trashed Carpet
I post here my nasties because everyone needs to know that trashed carpet doesn't always turn out perfect. I remember read post and thinking why don't all my cleanings turn out perfect? Well that's because most people don't like to admit that perfection is in the eyes of the beholder and sometimes perfection is simply a better presentation. I'm not the best cleaner but we have happy clients.
I will post more soon.

Re: The Best of Trashed Carpet
just a rental we did the other day
in hydroforce.... 8oz Natural Orange, 5oz 35% h2o2, 2 heaping scoups Enzyme
idea is natural orange is neutral pH so you can go stronger with high pH enzyme and not end up with too high pH of a mixture in the end

Re: The Best of Trashed Carpet
This months before and after picture contest winner is Ryan. Ryan showed that the after pictures don't have to look like brand new carpet to win the contest and he gave the process and solutions used to clean the carpet.

Re: The Best of Trashed Carpet
Thanks. This has to be one of the top threads on the board. Great info for RC looking to improve or find quality products. I would like to donate my winnings to some undisclosed person for Christmas. But you must forget I mentioned this after reading so my kindness will be soon forgotten.

Re: The Best of Trashed Carpet
All high quality work Ryan...rare to see those large floor registers like that in a modern home. Is that common in your region?
